This race looks a bit cloudy. 2 of our contenders are coupled (T.J's Posse and Smokin
Warrior) and at short odds of 1.45 to 1. Our other weak contender Gurkhas Band is 6.9 to
1, but a weak choice to bet to win. So.....probably not a good bet to play Gurkhas Band
place or show either, as our other contenders, the coupled favorites, who you would figure
at least one would hit the board, making place or show bets very unprofitable. Hmmm....
not an easy game. Guess I would play T.J's Posse and Smokin Warrior over Gurkhas Band
and then reverse that exacta as just a saver.
And you think we are always right! Our favored entry runs 5th and 6th and Gurkhas Band
runs 8th! Brooker D wins, Hedge Fund 2nd. Got to forget about this one as it just did not
run anywhere near the way we thought. The race appeared muddled and might have been
best passed. Well, thats why it is horse racing, and not robots.
