RECAP********************************
Races over a mile, and even more so on the turf, we like to look at the later parts of the
race as well(Fig3 - Fig5)
Exchanging Kisses with the Fig1 only being off 1, then following with strong Fig1 and Fig2,
and other parameters being good makes him a stickout here. No other horse shows that
here(a Fig1 no worse than 4 under, then the next 2 Figs being positives, all that with a
good CV and a good FigDif)
Two others to look at for possible use underneath Exchanging Kisses in the exacta.
Dancing Calling with that plus 9 in the late stages. But the other Deputyville, with those
Figs steadily improving as the race went on and then a PLUS 10 for Fig4 reall sticks out.
I would play it like this. Exchanging Kisses to Win. Exchanging Kisses over Deputyville
and Dancing Calling in the exacta, betting stronger with Deputyville in the second slot.
Then also a small saver with Deputyville over Exchanging Kisses... just in case he closes
real strong and Exchanging Kisses receives alot of pressure in the early run of the race
and Deputyville catches him with his late run that he shows.
Exchanging Kisses wins wire to wire paying $8.30. Deputyville who was 7th in the stretch
closes for second, giving us a $41.40 exacta. Dancing Calling ran dead last.
Give it a try, get the feel of the numbers, they are like nothing else. Once you get the feel
of it, after awhile they will jump out at you. This is not the way you are used to
handicapping. I have shown you just a few ways to use the HUP Figs, there are other
ways, and might vary track to track, distance to distance, surface to surface, but they can
really point you in the right direction. Of course we can not guarantee that all racing days
will be like this. Some might be better and even amazing, other times may not. Getting a
feel on paper first, then applying the HUP ratings however they work best for you. There
was a Pick 6 at Saratoga, that nobody hit, but that the HUP figs could have had by using 2
horses a race. So anything is possible with theses copyrighted HUP Ratings.
